These zones are also used in relation to the Parking Validator as well as in patrolling using LPR technology. Generally use is tied directly to enforcement and the handhelds.

Support Notes

  • Pay station machines such as T2 must be pushing a zone into our system that is attached with an actual lot. If the zone is not set up with a lot then it will display as active in the Pay Station data but not on the handheld unit. If the zone that is being pushed into the system is not being used, then the permits will show as invalid.
  • If an end user is able to park in multiple lots with a Pay Station virtual permit you would configure all the lots with the same zone.
  • NOTE: When scanning plates, if a user has purchased parking with the Pay Station that serves multiple lots, the informatiuon on the handheld will list all the lots that the virtual permit is valid in.

Troubleshooting Info

  • Bitwarden has credentials for for FNP. You can see the T2 IRIS settings
  • Papertrail has information about what is being pushed to us.
  • All records should show up in the Pay Station report as well.
